West Essex Football Club
West Essex Football Club was established in 1989. The football section was established through the ambitions of members who played cricket for the club, but played football for other local teams. We aim to provide good competitive football, good coaching and a family environment for players and their families.
The football section work closely with the club commitee of West Essex to ensure all parties are happy.
In addition to providing a safe and enjoyable football environment both in training and matches, the football section aims to encourage physical fitness, teamwork and discipline to the players. As the club as a whole we aim to have a good impact on the lives of our players and families.
The playing season runs from September to April. The club is commited to providing one training session a week, In addition to the Saturday and midweek matches. This does not include the junior section as they run their own programme.
West Essex Football Club expects a high degree of discipline and commitment from all club officials and players. This includes turning up for training and matches on time, being respectful to our opponents and maintaining our own high standards of behaviour that we set as a club.
As membership to all sides of West Essex Football Club (including the Juniors Section) is open to all, the teams that represent the club in each game will be picked on footballing ability and will be reviewed at each selection meeting.
