Club Constitution
Main Aims
To provide a safe and controlled environment where the players and their families, irrespective of sex, race or culture can participate in football and other recreational activities. To provide a good standard of football and training in order to maximise all the skills and talents of our players and officials. To promote and develop a good culture of discipline and excellence amongst the whole club and its playing members.
Membership
Membership of the football club shall be open to players between the ages of 16yrs - 60yrs. (The junior teams vary from 7yrs - 16yrs. At the age of 16yrs they may join the senior teams.) An annual membership fee is to be paid to the club within the first month of signing on and match fee paid at the end of each game to the team manager. All fee's are determined by the football section committee.
Management
The football section will be managed by the appointed committee. This committee shall consist of one team manager for each side, the chairman, secretary and players rep. The management committee have the power to enforce the rules of West Essex Football Club and shall suspend or expel any playing or non-playing member deemed guilty or misconduct that is prejudicial to the name of West Essex Football Club.
Management Meetings
The management committee will meet when necessary, the committee shall be responsible for the full running of the senior section of the football club. All team managers must attend all the committee meetings.
AGM
The AGM shall be held in May each year, Emergency meetings can be arranged providing seven days notice is given to all club members and the management committee.
Club Funds
The football section is a non-profit making and all club funds recieved will be used to provide a better clubhouse and newequipments for all club teams.
Financial Accounts/Year
All management committee members shall receive prior to the AGM a statement (from the Treasurer) of the accounts for the year. The football section financial year will run from 1st September to 28th April.
Club Correspondance
All correspondance shall be sent to the secretary, who shall then communicate to all other management members and players.
League Affiliation
The club shall affiliate to the Essex F.A., the Essex Business Houses League and the Mid Essex Vets League.
Ammendments of the Club Constitution
The club shall have then power to alter these rules but only at an AGM of the club after giving seven days notice of any changes that may take place. Any changes being made during an AGM require a minimum of 75% of those voting, to vote in favour of the change.
